Make. Fashion Plates and Greeting Cards (giveaway!)
I went to some garage sales last weekend and found the most amazing things! My favorite (by far) has to be the Fashion Plates. My daughter and I have been loving playing with them. The set is perfect! All the clothes I remember from my childhood. It even had all of the colored pencils! I wonder if this person even really played with it when she was little?
We have tons of these little pictures all throughout the house now. They are so much fun!
On the back of the plates there are textures. You can use those to color in patterns on your clothes. I kept mine pretty simple this time around.
Something came with these fashion plates that I hadn't seen before. It's a fashion plate greeting card maker! It has two different sized plates that you can use to make a small greeting. There are pictures and sayings included. It's so old that the images are starting to be back in style!
Included in my $2 purchase were TWO of these kits! I'm keeping one for myself but would love to pass the other one on to one of my readers!
Are you interested?
Last week I introduced you to my new facebook fan page. Become a fan and then comment here on this post if you would like to win. I'll pick a winner on Friday, June 19th. Good luck!

AHHH!!! I had those fashion plates!! I LOVED them. What a fabulous find!
I don't want to win them. I'll just play with yours when I come and that should be good for me.
My granddaughter loves paper dolls so I'll bet she'd enjoy this.
Aaaah, Christy, I too loved these as a little girl! I know Shelby and I would enjoy them... and I am also a fan!! :)

I seriously love these! And you know I'm a fan!
Oh my goodness! That is the exact set I had as a child too, although that looks in much better condition than mine did! I LOVED it, it had all sorts of crayon marks from oopses inside the frame.
I'm a fan on FB!
With three girls in this house, I would be slacking in my motherly duties if I didn't at least try to win these. (I was actually thinking about how sad it was that you can't get these anymore while looking for a little girl birthday present earlier this week.)
I would love to be a fan but I don't have facebook.
I so totally follow the blog though.
I love getting an email to tell me when it is updated.
I would love to win the set too.
I'm a fan on facebook. And I have always been a fan of these kits! I remember doing them when I was little...and I would love to do it with my girls now!
I had this whole set when I was little. I made many a card off it. You already gave the set away...but I just wanted to post anyway. I LOVED playing with my fashion plates when I was young. I wish they still made them...so my daughter could play with them. Lucky Eva!!
Maybe I should try to overcome my destestation for garage sales...and try to find her some.
Nah...
